Great place to enjoy a drink overlooking the river! The view is absolutely lovely. I ordered a waffle and it was really yummy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, such a nice spot to relax and take in the scenery.

The food was excellent, the location was dreamy, the service was good but the staff were overly busy. They were great nonetheless. The prices were expensive but this was to be expected given the location. Definitely would come back. What is there not to like about a Flemish Stew, a bottle of fine wine with a view of hundreds of diners overlooking a Ghent canal.

This place has one of the best views of the river and it was nice to have a snack and wine and watch the boats go by. We ordered the salmon sandwich which was very good. We sat there for 1.5 hours and it was very relaxing. The service was great too. We’ll be back!

If you are looking for a terrace with the best view in Gent then go to Meraki. Really cosy during the day as in the evening. Guest are provided with heating, blankets and good drinks. Moreover the staff is very helpful. Highly recommended for the view & drinks!

Beautiful view, all of the stunning buildings and architecture one could hope for. The waiter, James I think, was very nice and patient, and the service was quick. Everything was delicious, the cheese sandwich was very flavorful and crispy in the best ways. My hot chocolate came with a speculoos cookie and sweetener as well!

Can't beat the view! Friendly, quick and attentive service. We had hot chocolate, coffee, and waffles. All were delish. Lingered for quite a bit just taking in the view. Beautiful.

Great spot for lunch. Prices very reasonable for a baguette, toasted sandwich, salad or snacks. Very attentive staff. You could pay a lot more and have a much less attractive view with your meal! Recommended

Come for the views and to relax. The food was average, but the drinks were good and the views are spectacular.
This place was so cute and quaint. Came in to find a cheap drink away from the cold. There was a comfortable inside area along with outside seating with heaters. I would recommend this place for good prices, good views and away from the crowds!!
Very pleasant staff. Great Gruut beer and hot chocolate. Great little place to relax when walking along the river.

Very kind staff, price reasonable considering its location. Was a bit surprised to see nutty chocolate inside my drink but the taste was nice. Cuppa hot chocolate can warm you up in chilly night in Gent!
